Yorkshire Forward is the Regional Development Agency responsible for the sustainable economic development of Yorkshire and Humber. We do that by helping people to get jobs, developing our towns and cities and helping businesses find new markets. The region has a target to reduce CO2 emissions by 25% by 2016, and we aim to achieve this by working in partnership with the private and public sectors on sustainable projects that embrace new technologies like carbon capture and storage.
