RENEW exists to promote and assist the development of a viable and vibrant energy and environmental technology economy across the whole of the North East.
The idea is to exploit the knowledge and asset bases developed through many year's experience of steel, oil & gas, process, energy and advanced technologies to place the region at the forefront of a global low carbon economy. RENEW will target available and near-to-market technologies and projects to help deliver real outputs and develop long term capabilities and expertise.
RENEW builds on the excellent work already begun at
Renew Tees Valley and is funded by ONE North East.
