ILF Consulting Engineers Ltd is an international design consultant with offices in 20 countries and over 1000 engineers specialising in the long distance transportation and storage of gas and liquids. Recent projects involve 10,000 Km of pipelines with diameter in the range of 24" to 56" and 40 underground natural gas storage facilities in sub-surface salt caverns and depleted reservoirs. ILF brings nearly 50 years design and management experience with specialist knowledge of how to create, safe & reliable concepts applicable to specific technical and environmental risks. The transportation of CO2 via long distance pipelines and re-injection into existing reservoirs is not a new concept and substantial design and operational experience exists.
